Join the CAA in Long Island this October 9-12, 2025!

Through the help of CAA Honorary Director and Long Island Resident Jerry Trapani and his wife, Rita, the CAA is thrilled to return to Long Island, New York October 9 through 12.
The itinerary includes a private guided tour of the LIM collection led by the museum’s curators, as well as a visit into the museum’s storehouses (not on display to the general public.)
The visit continues on Saturday with a private visit to the stables of the noted horseman F. Ambrose Clark, and a visit to a collection of carriages at nearby Sands Point Preserve, the gilded-age estate of the Gould & Guggenheim families. The visits conclude with a private visit to the award-winning automobile collection of Howard & Roz Kroplick.
The Visit is Limited to 50 Participants. We hope to see you in October!

Hotel
Host Hotel: Hilton Garden Inn, 1 Circle Road, Stony Brook, NY
The Hilton Garden Inn is on the Stony Brook University campus, across the street from the university’s medical center. The free shuttle has a three-mile radius and includes stops to the historic village and the train station. Northern Coast Kitchen & Cocktails serves breakfast and dinner every day. Enjoy the indoor pool, business center, and 24-hour fitness center.
The CAA room rate is $209.00 (Thursday) and $229.00 (Friday and Saturday), plus applicable taxes. Please call the hotel’s reservation department at (631) 941-2980 and mention Carriage Association of America block. Make your own hotel reservations. Check-in is 4:00 pm; Check-out is Noon. Cut-off date for CAA room rate is August 24, 2025.
